SUCCESS IS...........

   Everyone has his/her own definition of success. We also like to be associated with the Bill Gates, the Aliko Dangotes, the Chris Kirubis and the like.One thing that these people have in common is that they are their own bosses. Though some of them started as employees.

    In life we tend to celebrate the glory and forget the story, we rarely ask ourselves where they started from. Some of us may think they just woke up and found themselves sleeping on the huge stash of money. Some may also think they inherited it from their parents. But being successful and staying successful is a matter of your own choice. Most of the richest people started from zero, they knew what they wanted and went for it and still they have not reached their destination. When such people are given a piece of land, they see the produce, they don't see the trouble they will go through with tilling the land, planting, wedding, harvesting, the loss they may incur if the weather isn't favourable and such.
    Success Is..... Is a new feature on this blog. It will entail one-on-one interviews with young entrepreneurs who are still students or have just come out of college life.They may not be the rich people we usually see on TV, but the thing is they are making a difference which will translate to greater things in the future.
    There will also be another feature a similar one to This Is My Story, by Julie Gichuru which I published in April. This will mainly be on various people giving out their testimonies on the goodness of our Father.

TECH SHAME     It's good to be conscious of where you are going and by what means you are getting to your destination. I recently experienced an embarrassing situation due to ignorance.      I was tired, I crossed the road of this busy street, almost got ran over. I didn't want to go further so the first matatu that came along, I was in. I sat on the nearest available seat. Next to me was a man probably in his late seventies, he was the talkative type. He asked me if I was going the same destination with him, I nodded in agreement, he kept giving me this curious look, as he was about to make further inquiries, the screen was on and loud sounds emanated from the speakers, at first, this came as a relief but it wasn't. The song being played was full of obscene language and equally obscene visual images, the first time I looked at the screen I literally went blind for some minutes. I vowed to be blind throughout the journey but my old friend would not let me.

                                                             LOVE  Love.this word arouses lots of feelings in people. Back in the days love was a tradition especially in Africa. People used to love one another regardless of the circumstances. There was no need for one to love somebody from the mere fact that they knew them.
