THE KNOW- IT- ALL

    People with the know-it-all personalities can be really annoying at times. They know everything, even the things that they know they don't know, they still know they know. It is really difficult to reason things out with such people.
    They are never willingly to listen to other people's opinions, theirs is always right and the best. Most of them dominate every conversations, when others try to air their views, they strongly oppose them even before one completes what he/she had to say.
   The president called an impromptu meeting with his advisers, they all came. The meeting was a question and answer session, the president wanted to see if his advisers were up to the given task. The first adviser was asked what his name was, where he was born and how old he was. He gave his answers in the respective order, he said he was 55 years old. The person next to him interrupted him to say that he was 58 and not 55 as he had stated.

    "...No you are 58, remember? You were born three years after my father." the man had said. Funny enough he himself was 40 years old, meaning he wasn't even born when the other man was born, but he knew his age.
Having such a character only makes you look foolish than you really are. Let us admit it, we can't know everything. It is good to acknowledge we don't know somethings.

TECH SHAME     It's good to be conscious of where you are going and by what means you are getting to your destination. I recently experienced an embarrassing situation due to ignorance.      I was tired, I crossed the road of this busy street, almost got ran over. I didn't want to go further so the first matatu that came along, I was in. I sat on the nearest available seat. Next to me was a man probably in his late seventies, he was the talkative type. He asked me if I was going the same destination with him, I nodded in agreement, he kept giving me this curious look, as he was about to make further inquiries, the screen was on and loud sounds emanated from the speakers, at first, this came as a relief but it wasn't. The song being played was full of obscene language and equally obscene visual images, the first time I looked at the screen I literally went blind for some minutes. I vowed to be blind throughout the journey but my old friend would not let me.

                                                             LOVE  Love.this word arouses lots of feelings in people. Back in the days love was a tradition especially in Africa. People used to love one another regardless of the circumstances. There was no need for one to love somebody from the mere fact that they knew them. In those days, the phrase "I love you" was used genuinely. I once had a friend, at the time of this incident am narrating, she was about seventeen years of age.
